Overcoming fear of being swallowed by the dark, the child experiences painted animals that spring to life on the cave walls and takes part in painting a new family story, leaving his marks in the form of handprints. Inspired by this magical experience, the child chooses to become a story hunter, carrying the community’s stories as they move on.
